G.I.R.L.S. Conference
G.I.R.L.S. Conference was created to inspire young women who want to pursue different careers in STEAM and leadership, creating a more diverse and inclusive environment in the process. Our goal is to provide all students with the resources and confidence to find and fulfill their passions.
Shatter the Glass Ceiling
As part of our team's community outreach, we organize and host an annual Girls Inspiring Real Leadership In STEAM (GIRLS) Conference. For our 9th annual G.I.R.L.S. Conference, we hope to engage 6th-12th grade students to “Shatter the Glass Ceiling”, and learn how to step into meaningful leadership roles and understand what their true potential is. Presentations will be given by professionals and students in various scientific and engineering fields, as well as a panel discussion to ask questions regarding their experience as women in STEAM. Networking opportunities will be available, offering an array of professionals from engineering organizations to help students work on their leadership skills in order to inspire youth to become the leaders of tomorrow.
